Essie Navigate Her - £9.99 (for a pack of three/four) TK Maxx

Considering I was trying my hardest not to buy into the Essie diffusion line hype, once I caved that was it – Essie has become my number one nail polish brand (and favourite discovery of 2012).  The collection now stands at a shocking 15 or 16 polishes, however I’ve only actually paid full price for two polishes. The rest is from the three and four packs from TK Maxx for £9.99 (actually I have bought 7 polishes for £14 from there on Christmas Eve).

Anyway the only way to describe “Navigate Her” is a vintage light green – basically a dull grey/green shade. Personally I think this is quite an apt colour for work as its not in your face like some of the other shades which I own. Its worth noting with the sets from TK Maxx some of the polishes are from the diffusion line with the new wider brush and quicker drying time. Whilst the rest are part of the main line with the thin brush. I’ve got two coats on in the pictures above, however you can get away with full coverage in the one coat. As with all Essie nail polishes this lasted a good 4 days without any signs of chipping.

A word of warning however- work colleagues may find it hilarious to ask why you have snots on your nails. That joke got old after about 5 minutes.
