Help a Technophobe

I'll probably be in trouble with my FL Gary for posting this picture on here, however this was only picture which I could edit to prove my point of my post. So anyway back to the point of the post, when it comes to photography for me I am a complete and utter technophobe. I have decided that instead of using my iPhone 4 for taking photos for the blog I actually need a new digital camera.

Through the use of apps on my phone I am able to do basic editing (as you can see above) and you can buy accessories for your phone such as tripods and fish eye lenses. However I think its time I spend some money on a better digital camera. I want a cheapish camera which has go macro/zoom and a self timer. What cameras do you recommend for taking blog photos? Let me know.

  4. I've always used a Sony point and shoot (mine is the DSC W110) - you can get the updated model (DSC W610) on Amazon for about £70.
I love that it's small, easy to use, takes decent pictures and has a rechargable battery. If I could afford/justify a more expensive DSLR I would get it, maybe if I decide to do YouTube videos or OOTDs!

Basically, you don't have to spend a fortune if it's just for basic blog pics but if you will be doing a lot of outfits or FOTDs you might want to spend a little more!
