Essie Trio- £9.99 TK Maxx
Sometimes I think the North East is left out when bargains are to be found in the high street shops- the latest fad being discounted Essie nail polishes in TK Maxx. Well my fellow North Eastern chums fear not as at long last I have been able to get my hands on some Essie polishes from TK Maxx (for your reference its the one inside the Metro Centre). Previously on trips to TK Maxx I'd been able to find Essie nail treatments however thats as far as its gone, however an impromptu trip the other week while I was off work paid its dividends.
TK Maxx was full of Models Own duo sets, OPI polishes from Pirates of the Carribean collection and shatter duos, Orly trios and three and four packs of Essie. As you can see I was rather restrained and bought the above set for £9.99. Believe it or not "Not Just A Pretty Face" is actually part of the diffusion line which you can get in Boots and Superdrug. Its worth noting that these polishes must be imported from America as the barcodes are different to the UK ones and also its the small thin brush which I'm not a fan of, I prefer the diffusion line brush.
In a nutshell I'm really happy with the polishes- I can't comment on how long they last etc as I literally did two coats per nail (no topcoat) and took pictures. If you are after some dupes for these polishes I would say "True Love" (pink) is pratically the same as Models Own Sophie's Pink and "NJAPF" is a dupe for my all time favourite nail polish OPI Passion.
Have you managed to get any nail polish bargains in TK Maxx??
I found them in Kendall at the beginning of June, so not all of you northies were left out for so long!

DeleteOh gorgeous :D so glossy.. im yet to try essie polishes but ive never seen them in tk maxx.. i have picked up OPI varnishes but I dont think they're all that!.. x
